SETS AND ACCESSORIES
In this series I explore how private, interior spaces reflect those who inhabit that space, in much the same way jewelry reflects something unseen or unspoken. The four interiors I chose to describe were not specific ones that I had seen but were ones in which I had strong associates about. Each set is composed of several elements, some wearable, that can be removed or rearranged by the wearer.
Along with the four large sets I created accessories, individual pieces that were not vital to the description of the interior but added more detail to their overall illustration. I was, in essence, talking about taste and style—more specifically designed and fabricated, formulaic and idiosyncratic, tacky and accumulated.
